But this <strong>system also fails to provide complete security<\/strong>, besides being slow, and we are much more exposed than we think to theft or usurpation of our identity.<\/p><p>We see it clearly in all the problems generated by the latest <strong>leak of Facebook user data<\/strong> (emails, passwords, phone numbers, locations, etc.) In this <a href=\"https:\/\/www.xataka.com\/seguridad\/descalabro-facebook-deja-leccion-importante-sms-no-sirven-como-sistema-autenticacion-dos-pasos\">interesting article<\/a> (in Spanish) by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.xataka.com\/autor\/javier-pastor\">Javier Pastor<\/a> in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.xataka.com\/seguridad\/descalabro-facebook-deja-leccion-importante-sms-no-sirven-como-sistema-autenticacion-dos-pasos\">Xataka<\/a> we can read the <strong>serious risks to which we are exposed simply by having to certify our digital identity<\/strong>: that I am me. <strong>Private data, bank robberies, loan applications, SIM swapping, etc<\/strong>.
